Camilla is a carpenter at Multiform

Living space and space for living

At Multiform we have clear views on many things. Not least in relation to quality, advice and timeless design. The roots of these views lie in our love for unique craftsmanship. A quality kitchen is built in proper carpenter fashion and creates out-of-the ordinary experiences of space. We believe that life is best lived within a perfect setting in which even the smallest details are part of the greater whole — for the individual. We deliver personalised everyday architecture.

Uncompromising quality

Award-winning, hand-crafted kitchens in timeless designs made using exquisite materials and carefully prepared details. Classical timelessness never goes out of fashion and the uncompromising quality will last for generations.

True cabinetmaker’s style

All wooden drawers are handmade by Multiform using true cabinetmaker’s skills and dovetail joints.

The maple wood for all of Multiform’s handmade drawers comes from a small family-run sawmill in Austria and is felled exclusively from European forests. To achieve the lightest colour and most uniform wood structure, the wood used for Multiform’s drawers is felled only during a few weeks of the year following a period of prolonged frost. This results in drawers that are not only beautiful but also strong, created specially for each individual kitchen.

The handmade drawers are available in maple, oak and black-stained oak, with a pastel grey or black base.

The drawer bases for the handmade wooden drawers are made from 3 mm compact laminate secured using grooves in the sides of the drawers, resulting in drawers that are not only beautiful but also strong and that will last for generations.

We make drawer interiors by hand, using solid wood, and secure them to the drawers using screws.

Veneer specialists

Multiform’s veneer specialists work with both classic quartz-cut veneer and tangent-sawn veneer with wood grain of the uttermost quality running throughout.

As an additional service, Multiform keeps an additional layer of tangent-sawn veneer for a minimum of one year in the event of damage to a drawer, for example. This ensures that we can recreate a completely identical veneer look on a new drawer if any accidents happen.

Professional and passionate advice

At Multiform you will receive advice from passionate and qualified architects, interior designers and designers, who will help you create beautiful and functional living spaces in harmony with the architecture of your home, ensuring that aesthetics and practicality are perfectly balanced.

Unique and tailor-made

Each individual Multiform kitchen is unique and tailored just for you – a handmade luxury kitchen with exactly the width, height and depth that fits your home and your needs. If we need to build 72.8 cm high cabinets to create perfect symmetry, then that is exactly what we will do.

Designed to last

The cabinet carcasses are 19 mm, instead of the typical 16 mm, as an additional guarantee to ensure a long service life.

The rear cladding is 8 mm and installed using grooves. This ensures that the cabinets have great stability and allows us to create iconic, floating kitchen islands.

Beautiful interior and exterior

A Multiform kitchen is equally as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside, as you can design the cabinets using white or grey melamine, interior veneer, laminate or stain in any colour you like.

Our smoked oak is produced in accordance with the original method.

The original method

Multiform’s smoked oak is manufactured using the original method, in which ammonia is added to the European oak during the drying process, causing the colour of the wood to change. This provides the doors with a beautiful dark colour throughout, changing from dark brown to nearly black.

Finally, the doors are varnished using a specialist soft feel varnish to achieve the most exquisite results and ultimate durability.

Classic design

When we produce the design classic Form 1, we create the beautiful, uniform look by adding the absolute best quality veneer to the solid wood. Solid wood is by nature uneven when it comes to colour and structure and without the veneer the results would be extremely mottled.

Hand-varnished surfaces

Multiform’s varnishing specialists hand-varnish the surfaces using the strongest varnish available on the market (polyurethane varnish), which is finished with a coat of clear varnish to minimise the risk of scratches and marks from e.g. belt buckles. The varnish evaporates within 24 hours and no vapours of any kind will be released in your home.

Sustainability

We have taken a sustainable perspective on making handmade carpenter’s kitchens since 1982 – from wood and in an uncompromising quality that lasts for generations. Sustainability is and will continue to be a strategic focus area for Multiform.
