Data Protection Policy
We are committed to data integrity and take great pride in protecting the data of our customers, suppliers and employees, including personal data. It is important for us to safeguard this personal data properly and ensure that we comply with both Danish data protection legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This data policy explains how Multiform collects and uses personal data that you leave online when you visit our website, for example.
Multiform is the data controller for personal data collected via our website and services belonging to Multiform, unless otherwise stated in the data policy.
Collection of personal data
We only collect the personal data that is necessary for us to arrange, produce and deliver your Multiform carpenter’s kitchen, and in principle we only process ordinary personal data (both non-sensitive and confidential) such as name, address, telephone number and email address.
Some of the personal data we collect is necessary for us to perform specific tasks, such as booking a meeting on the website. The forms used to collect personal data indicate whether the requested information is required or optional. If a field is required, it will be marked with an asterisk (*). If you fail to provide the necessary information, please be aware that you will not be able to use the service on the website.
If you disclose personal data about persons other than yourself, we encourage you to inform them of the disclosure and obtain their consent.
Use of personal data
We collect and use personal data in connection with booking meetings, events, subscribing to newsletters and using social media. We may also process your personal data for other purposes if we have the right or obligation to do so under applicable law. We retain your personal data in order to produce and deliver your goods and provide service throughout the warranty period.
In line with the fulfilment of a contract between us and our business partners, we only use your personal data for development, production, sales, marketing and maintenance purposes in connection with our services and products in the kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe. By subscribing to our newsletter on the website and for sales/marketing purposes, you provide your prior and explicit consent.
Personal information for booking of meetings
We are obliged to process the personal data you submit in our contact form when you book a meeting regarding our kitchen, bathroom or wardrobe solutions. This constitutes our legal basis for processing your personal data.
If you book a meeting on the website, your information will be passed on to the Multiform store of your choice. The information will remain anonymous for subsequent statistical purposes.
Personal data for events
In connection with events in Multiform’s shops, for example, we occasionally hire photographers to take situation photos for digital use on Multiform’s platforms. In addition, the image files are only accessible to Multiform’s management and are deleted after a maximum of five years.
Personal data when subscribing to newsletters
We only send newsletters to those of you who have chosen to receive them and who have signed up to do so. If you have received our newsletter without having given us your consent, this may be because a person you know has forwarded the newsletter to you. We store your information in a database on a protected server. Only Multiform’s web administrator, in collaboration with an external partner, has access to your information.
